Job DescriptionBroad Function and Purpose of Position:
Manage a wide variety of Human Resources generalist duties including policies, procedures, safety, benefits, compensation, performance management, labor relations and staffing.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain cost-effective recruitment and selection activities, including working with hiring managers to develop selection criteria, prepare job requisitions, and post internal job openingsAnalyze headcount, turnover, and personnel statistics to recommend new or revised employment policies and proceduresAdminister personnel transactions including increases, promotions, transfers, terminations, and performance appraisals; maintain all related employment recordsDirect compensation plan application, including preparation of Position Descriptions, Salary Administration, and Performance Review processesAdminister company benefits and respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits informationDirect employee development and training efforts, including coordination of on-site training and maintenance of training recordsPrepare and maintain the Affirmative Action ProgramAdminister workers compensation reporting and communications to minimize work-related liabilitiesDirect Labor Relations efforts, including grievance administration, collective bargaining, and contract administrationRepresent the organization in Workers Compensation, Unemployment Compensation, Legal, and Community mattersCoordinate employee separations and conduct exit interviewsSupervise Plant Human Resources department employees and manage payroll at the plant levelMonitor employee attendance policy and sponsor Employee Relations eventsCollaborate with EHS to direct safety efforts within the facilityPerform special projects and other assignments as required by
Local or Corporate ManagementQualificationsQualifications/Experience:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field and a minimum of 5-7 years of solid Human Resources experience. Detail oriented professional.

Proven leadership and organizational experience. PC literate with our prevailing software and systems.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving ability. Dedicated to customer satisfaction and excellent interpersonal skills.
