Based on Experience We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to join our growing team in Springfield, MO. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, champion organizational culture, and drive people-focused initiatives that support continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by leading full-spectrum HR operations, enhancing employee experience, strengthening engagement, and developing scalable processes to support an expanding workforce.
HR Manager Responsibilities:
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, from headcount approval through onboarding, in a high-growth environment where hiring is a key priority
  • Develop and implement innovative employee retention and engagement strategies
  • Partner with leadership to identify talent needs and develop workforce planning initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted partner to site leadership, providing guidance on HR best practices
  • Collaborate with corporate and cross-functional HR teams to align local initiatives with broader organizational strategies
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement efforts
  • Lead employee relations activities with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture
  • Address employee concerns professionally and effectively
  • Partner with Learning & Development teams to design and deliver training programs
  • Support the execution of learning strategies that promote employee growth and organizational success
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, policies, and procedures
  • Oversee HR systems, benefits administration, and site-level HR processes
  • Manage Workers' Compensation and FMLA programs
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Oversee HR administrative functions and systems
  • Coach, mentor, and develop HR team members, including HR Coordinators, Recruiters, and Payroll staff
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
  • Support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives to promote a safe workplace
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives Requirements for
HR Manager:
  • At least six years of general Human Resources experience, including at least 2 years in a Human Resources Manager or Human Resources Business Partner role
  • Experience leading and developing direct reports
  • Prior employee and labor relations experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent organizational, relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Experience with payroll administration preferred
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Paylocity preferred
  • Experience implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives is a plus
