Exciting Challenges Broad Function and Purpose of Position :
Implementation and hands-on handling of a wide variety of Human Resources and Facility Operational duties, including policies, practices, and programs to support staffing, employee relations, benefits and compensation, performance management and training. Customer service focus toward employees. Responsible for orientation, new hire paperwork, and 90 day review notifications- Oversee weekly timesheets/payroll for Madison Heights employees
- Maintain accurate employee records; track absence, vacation, STD, etc.
- Responsible for I-9 tracking, transfers, STD, LOA and FMLA paperwork
- Coordinate all training related activities for Madison Heights personnel, including record keeping
- Execute established recruiting activities for non-exempt positions; assist with exempt positions
- Conduct reference checks using standardized questions
- Process incoming invoices for payment
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
- Participate in various MH teams as needed
- Reserve Conference Rooms and order food as needed for meetings, training courses, etc.
- Post building-wide announcements, notices, etc., on the bulletin boards
- Supervise Office Coordinator and the functions of Office Coordinator
- Other duties as assigned and travel as required
