Job Description
Eaton is seeking a strategic, hands-on HR Business Partner/Multi-Site HR Manager to support a multi-site manufacturing and distribution network (4 locations, over 700 employees) in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina. Relocation assistance is available to the Raleigh area from within the US. Minimal travel is expected (~10%). The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: This role partners with the Director, Operations, to drive workforce strategy, strengthen leadership capability, and enhance organizational performance across both hourly and salaried populations. The
HRBP/HRM
will influence and support projects that will impact 80 people leaders, leading key initiatives that improve engagement, retention, and business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with site and functional leaders to align HR strategy with business goals
- Coach and influence managers of people to improve leadership effectiveness and performance
- Lead employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Drive workforce planning, retention strategies, and talent development across all sites
- Initiate and lead HR projects focused on leadership development, engagement, and culture
- Analyze workforce data (turnover, absenteeism, engagement) to inform decisions
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and consistent application of policies
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and succession planning in a high-volume environment
- Maintain strong site presence through regular travel and partnership with operations

Basic qualifications:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of professional human resources experience
- Manufacturing industry/operations environment experience required

- Experience within a Plant or Distribution Center
- Experience as an HR Partner for a multi-site business
Skills:
- Strong employee relations and conflict resolution experience
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Opening new facilities and establishing culture experience preferred
- Demonstrated project management and employee initiative rollout
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MSOffice suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Expertise in full-cycle talent management, including strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with leadership and translate business priorities into scalable people strategies
- Proven experience partnering with senior leaders in complex, multi-site, operational environments
- Experience managing complex employee relations and HR risk
