Job Summary The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by managing employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies, and promoting a culture of respect, inclusion, and accountability. This role serves as a key advisor to leadership and employees on workplace concerns, conflict resolution, and compliance with employment laws. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, workplace complaints, and policy interpretation Conduct thorough, impartial investigations into employee complaints such as harassment, discrimination, and misconduct Partner with the Quality Assurance department on abuse, neglect, exploitation investigations Partner with HR leadership and legal counsel to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement strategies Develop, implement, and maintain employee relations policies, procedures, and best practices Analyze employee relations trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend proactive solutions Lead training sessions for managers and employees on topics such as workplace conduct, conflict resolution, and company policies Support organizational change initiatives by providing guidance on employee impact and communication strategies Maintain accurate documentation and case records in accordance with company standards and legal requirements Complete all other duties as assigned Education & Experience Five or more years' experience in human resources with a focus on employee relations. Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources, organizational development, or related field preferred. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Proven experience conducting workplace investigations Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently Knowledge of labor laws Strong leadership and team management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
