Job Description

Overview:
Six Flags Great Adventure is seeking an outgoing and creative person to join our Human Resources team. This position is responsible for the supervision of the Human Resources Department, including the international visa program, Team Member Campus, and daily Department Operations.

Qualifications:
Enforcement of all company attendance policies and procedures, including any applicable warnings and/or counseling sessionsFacilitation of new HR processes and continual trainingInterface frequently with local departments to understand all departmental objectives and discover necessary tasks to aid them in analyzing and improving their businessTrack and analyze statistical employment data to coordinate targeted hiring efforts and focus on hiring specialty positions as neededConducting regular meetings with department representativesto determine the effectiveness of hiring plans and discussing staffing needs/concerns of departmentsCoordinate park Supervision to attend Job fairs and assist in the onboarding processHelp in the planning, communication, and execution of all employee events.

Continually train, evaluate and coach/counsel HR staff as needed while setting high standards of performance for all areaswithin their responsibilitiesFoster an environment of teamwork, professionalism, resourcefulness, and efficiencyCreate and post HR employee schedule and monitor payroll and expensesEnsure all Federal and State employment forms are completed properlyAssist in processing unemployment, social service and all outside agency paperworkComplete employment verificationsAssist in the development of a rewards program for Seasonal employeesCoordinate and monitor the International Student ProgramOversee all on-campus housing operationsMaintaining compliance with laws and policies regarding the employment of minors, including working papers and schedulesPerform all other duties as assigned and assist with other areas of the Human Resources Department.
