Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW REED
Autism Services is seeking a Workforce Development Manager to lead and expand workforce development programming for individuals with autism across multiple REED sites, including the Farm, Fitness Center, and Café. This role is responsible for building and sustaining external partnerships, recruiting workforce development participants, promoting REED's Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), and ensuring accurate, timely data reporting. This is a leadership role combining strategy, relationship management, compliance, and hands-on program support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Workforce Development Program Leadership Provide leadership and oversight of workforce development programming across REED's Farm, Fitness Center, and Café. Align REED's mission and values with daily practice, ensuring dignity, inclusion, and meaningful engagement for all participants. Directly supervise, train, and support Workforce Development Coordinators. Assist and support workforce development groups on site as needed across all locations. Collaborate with site leadership to identify and broaden Workforce Development Opportunities across sites. Partnership Development & Recruitment Lead recruitment efforts for workforce development participants across programs and sites. Monitor enrollment levels to ensure workforce development participation aligns with budget projections and DVRS funding expectations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with school districts, transition coordinators, and other referral sources. Maintain active oversight of district processes, ensuring timely communication and responsiveness through consistent, proactive follow-up. Promote REED's Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) and workforce development offerings to external referral sources. Represent REED at meetings, transition fairs, and community events to expand awareness and access to services. Execute a smooth intake, onboarding, and placement process for all clients. Identify gaps in participation and implement outreach strategies to strengthen enrollment. Data Management & Reporting Oversee all workforce development data collection, tracking, and reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with internal, state, and funding-related reporting standards. Use data to monitor outcomes, inform program improvements, and support sustainability efforts.
SCHEDULE & WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is primarily day-based, with flexibility required to support school schedules, partner meetings, and on-site programming. Regular travel between REED sites may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in human services, education, workforce development, or a related field (Master's preferred). Experience in workforce development, transition services, vocational programming, or disability services. Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with experience managing and developing staff. Excellent organizational, communication, and data management skills. Knowledge of Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) and related reporting requirements preferred. Commitment to REED's mission and a belief in expanding what's possible for individuals with autism.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
