Position Overview The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Human Resources function for Stress Care of New Jersey. This role serves as the primary HR leader for day-to-day operations and ensures effective execution of HR strategies, compliance, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and policy enforcement. The HR Manager works closely with executive and clinical leadership to support organizational goals while fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture aligned with the organization s Mission, Vision, and Values. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Operations & Oversight Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, payroll coordination, performance management, compliance, and offboarding. Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are applied consistently and fairly across the organization. Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity with all employee and organizational information. Recruitment, Hiring & Credentialing Manage full-cycle recruitment for all roles, including clinical and administrative positions. Coordinate hiring needs with leadership and conduct interviews and candidate evaluations. Ensure compliance with credentialing requirements, licensure verification, and onboarding documentation. Employee Relations & Performance Management Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including concerns, grievances, investigations, and corrective actions. Oversee performance evaluation processes including 90-day and annual reviews. Coach and support leadership on performance management, discipline, and terminations. Compliance & Policy Management Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.). Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and procedures to reflect current regulations and best practices. Support audits, accreditation requirements, and regulatory reviews as needed. Benefits, Compensation & HR Administration Administer employee benefits programs, leave management, and compensation processes. Oversee personnel records, HRIS data, PTO tracking, licensure files, and employee documentation. Coordinate payroll changes with payroll providers and ensure accuracy and timeliness. Training, Development & Organizational Support Manage new hire orientation and ongoing employee training initiatives. Support organizational change initiatives and employee engagement efforts. Provide guidance to leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and retention. Leadership & Strategy Act as a trusted HR partner to leadership, providing guidance on people strategy and organizational needs. Monitor HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational success. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience , including oversight of multiple HR functions. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and staff. Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or regulated environments preferred.
