Job Description

Human Resources Manager Position Summary Seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration. This role partners with senior leadership to support workforce planning, ensure compliance, and enhance HR policies and processes within a professional services environment. Key Responsibilities Support and manage day-to-day HR operations across the organization Lead full-cycle recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives Evaluate and improve HR policies, procedures, and programs Assess staffing needs and maintain appropriate workforce levels Oversee administrative and support staff performance and development Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Administer leave of absence processes and employee benefit programs (including 401(k)) Maintain and update job descriptions and organizational documentation Prepare HR reports, metrics, and analysis for leadership Support onboarding and integration of new hires Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and internal teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) Must come from legal/professional services industry 4+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a professional services environment HR certification (SHRM or PHR) preferred Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
