Human Resources Partner - Friends Village FellowshipLIFE is a not-for-profit organization with a vision to transform the aging experience and empower all those we serve to live their best life. Our dedication to older adults spans multiple aspects of senior living services, including Independent Living, Home Care, Medical Services and Wellness Programs for those who live in our senior living communities or reside in surrounding areas throughout New Jersey. Position Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources Operations, the Human Resources Partner (HRP) provides full-spectrum HR strategy and execution, including talent acquisition, orientation, team member relations, performance management, compensation, compliance, engagement, learning and development, and organizational effectiveness. The Human Resources Partner must possess the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations; demonstrate effective verbal and written communication, administrative, and organizational skills; as well as the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Leads by example, maintaining a professional work relationship with team members at all levels of the organization, and all those we care for and serve. Remains knowledgeable of human resources laws and regulations, HR industry trends, and changes within the senior living/healthcare industry. The Human Resources Partner is responsible and held accountable for following FellowshipLIFE mission and core values, while maintaining and living our philosophy of person-directed lifestyle and Fellowship Spirit. Key Responsibilities Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational goals, growth, and culture Leverage HR data and workforce analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall team member experience Serve as primary contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations; promote fair policy application and foster an inclusive, respectful, and accountable culture. Ensure adherence to employment laws and healthcare regulations; manage audits, workplace safety, workers compensation, FMLA, unemployment claims, and required reporting (EEO-1, OSHA). Provide coaching, guidance, and leadership development support to managers Champion a culture of respect, inclusion, accountability, and well-being Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years of progressive HR experience; healthcare, home care, or senior living experience strongly preferred SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of payroll system(s) to generate reports and run queries as required. Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive information with discretion
