Job Description

Citywide Service Group is one of New York's leading service companies, with a team of over 100 field and office professionals serving residential and commercial clients across the five boroughs. We move fast, we do the work right, and we take care of our people. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a sharp, experienced Payroll & HR Manager to be the backbone of our operations.
  • ## The Role This is one of the most important positions in our company.
You'll own payroll end-to-end for a 100+ person workforce — including some prevailing wage projects — and serve as the go-to person for HR and benefits administration. You'll work directly with ownership and report at the highest level of the organization.   • ## What You'll Own
  • Payroll
  • Process weekly payroll for 100+ employees
  • Ensure full compliance with NYC, NYS, and federal payroll regulations
  • Manage certified payroll reporting for prevailing wage jobs
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and coordinate with bookkeeping
  • HR & Benefits
  • Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.)
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and personnel records
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR questions
  • ## What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of payroll experience
  • in a trades, construction, or field service environment strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Quick Books payroll software
  • Solid understanding of NY labor laws
  • Strong attention to detail — you catch errors before they become problems
  • Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive employee information
  • Comfortable working closely with ownership in a fast-paced environment
Pay:
$95,000.00
  • $125,000.
00 per year
