The Office of Equity and Inclusion at SUNY Oneonta is seeking an Associate Director for the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC) and OEI Program Associate to support an inclusive and equitable campus environment where all gender identities, sexual orientations, and intersectional social identities are celebrated and supported. Reporting directly to the Vice President for Equity, Inclusion/Equal Opportunity and Compliance, this position provides leadership for the GSRC, including strategic planning, program development, and day-to-day operations. The Associate Director works collaboratively across campus to support LGBTQ+ students, develop educational programming, and assess initiatives that promote belonging and student success. The Associate Director guides the GSRC's strategic direction and oversees initiatives that support the LGBTQ+ community and address intersectional identities. The role includes partnering with campus stakeholders to plan and implement programs and events, evaluating outcomes to support continuous improvement, and contributing to a welcoming and inclusive campus environment. In addition, the incumbent serves on the Bias Act Response Team (BART), supports DEISJ training efforts, and contributes to maintaining SUNY Oneonta's recognition as an LGBTQ+ welcoming campus. Duties include but are not limited to: Serving as a resource for the campus community, with an emphasis on engagement and retention of LGBTQ+ students. Delivering student-focused educational, cultural, and social programs, workshops, and events related to gender, LGBTQ+, and intersectional identities. Supervising and evaluating student staff and interns to ensure effective program delivery. Collaborating with campus units and student organizations to plan and host events, including the PRISM Conference, Women's History Month, Pride Month, and Lavender Graduation. Facilitating and overseeing the Safe Space training program and the GSRC Advisory Group. Advocating for students and employees regarding gender and LGBTQ+ issues. Maintaining and enhancing the GSRC webpage while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. Coordinating the QT Affinity Group for faculty and staff. Partnering with academic departments to support LGBTQ+-inclusive pedagogy and develop internship opportunities. Assisting in the design and implementation of OEI online training programs, including tracking participation and evaluating feedback. Partnering with the CRJIE and OEI leadership to develop and implement intersectional and inclusive programming. Hosting monthly dialogues and discussions across GSRC and affiliated spaces. Managing a programming budget. Supporting continuous improvement in LGBTQ+ inclusivity through participation in the Campus Pride Index and related initiatives. Contributing to additional OEI initiatives and programs as needed. Working occasional evenings and weekends as required for program delivery and events. Salary:

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Excellent organizational, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills. Experience providing services to diverse student populations. At least three years of direct or related professional experience, including but not limited to working in higher education, LGBTQ+ issues, and or other DEI related field. Demonstrated experience creating or leading collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and groups. Preferred:
Master's degree in higher education; student affairs; diversity, equity, and inclusion; or related field. At least four years of relevant full-time professional experience related to LGBTQ+ and social justice issues in higher education. At least one year of supervisory experience. Knowledge of current and historical theories, practices, and trends in diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice education. Experience developing and facilitating trainings or workshops on LGBTQ+ and DEI-related topics to a wide variety of constituents. Experience developing and implementing student and/or employee programming focused on LGBTQ+ and broader diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives. Additional Information:
