Staff Manager (Field Operations) -
Blue Collar Workforce Location:
Spring Valley, NY (Frequent travel throughout Upstate NY) We are looking for a proactive and experienced Staff Manager (Bilingual English/Spanish) to oversee daily field operations, manage employees across multiple client locations, and maintain strong relationships with our clients. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, managing teams, and ensuring operations run smoothly. Responsibilities Visit client job sites on a daily basis. Build and maintain professional relationships with clients. Manage employee schedules and adjust staffing based on client needs. Verify daily headcount and ensure all shifts are fully staffed. Collect and review employee timesheets for payroll accuracy. Monitor attendance and identify employees who are absent or late. Arrange immediate replacements when employees call out or fail to report to work. Supervise and support multiple teams working at different locations. Communicate professionally and ethically with employees, clients, and supervisors. Handle employee concerns regarding schedules, payroll, attendance, and workplace issues. Coordinate the delivery of uniforms, equipment, supplies, and other work-related materials. Perform regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and client satisfaction. Work closely with the recruiting team to fill staffing needs quickly. Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate staffing records. Be available to respond to urgent employee or client calls during evenings and weekends when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience managing blue-collar employees (cleaning, warehouse, maintenance, hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, construction, or similar industries). Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple job sites simultaneously. Professional communication and customer service skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Reliable personal vehicle required with the ability to travel throughout Spring Valley and Upstate New York. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and scheduling software is a plus. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and confident leading field operations. They take ownership, communicate effectively, make quick decisions, and are committed to delivering outstanding service to both clients and employees. Schedule Monday through Friday (full-time). Combination of client site visits and office-based responsibilities . Frequent travel throughout Spring Valley and Upstate New York. Occasional evening and weekend availability may be required to respond to urgent staffing needs, employee call-outs, scheduling changes, client requests, or operational issues.
Pay:
$52,537.17 - $71,000.00 per year
