We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person to be our next Director of Human Resources and Talent Success. This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone who desires to collaborate with attorneys and staff at every level. Some of the
Essential Functions Include:
Recruitment:
Work with managers on all staff hires.
Summer associate program:
Hire summer associates each year who the firm hopes to hire as BDB attorneys after law school graduation. In addition to hiring the students, you will have the opportunity to manage the summer associate program. Collaborate with BDB attorneys to hire lateral associates, non-equity partners, and shareholders.
Benefits Administration:
Manage daily benefits administration and the open enrollment process. Onboarding and orientation for attorneys and staff Collaborate with managers to provide guidance on employee relations matters: Administer performance improvement plans. Manage all aspects of FMLA leave. Manage workers' compensation claims.
Separations of Employment:
Conduct exit interviews. Complete transition procedures in
Buckingham Systems Cultural Initiatives:
Ensure employee birthdays, anniversaries, and milestones are communicated and celebrated.
We Require:
10+ years' experience in Human Resources. Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field. SHRM or HRCI certification preferred. Law or professional firm experience preferred.
