OVERVIEW
Job Center is seeking a dedicated On-Site Warehouse Staffing Supervisor to oversee daily operations and team members at warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, attendance, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to handle various tasks related to warehouse job duties, shipping and receiving, picking/packing, and materials handling.
Shift:
2nd- 5pm-1:30am
Mon-Thurs Pay:
$22/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES ON-SITE WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and recruiting talent for the site Supervise daily operations within the temp labor employees to ensure efficiency and productivity. Work on warehouse floor to interact with employees and client supervisors and leadership team. Coordinate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to enhance performance and productivity. Complete attendance duties daily by filling out attendance report and following up on "no shows". Check in new associates on 1st day of starts.
REQUIRED SKILLS OF ON-SITE WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
• Proven experience in warehouse leadership or related field. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes in a distribution center environment. Experience in materials handling, ensuring proper storage and organization of products. Proficient in using e-commerce systems for order processing is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Detail Oriented and ability to resolve conflicts is necessary.
