Job Description

Minutemen Staffing is hiring an experienced HR Manager for a leading die casting manufacturer in Macedonia, Ohio. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a stable first-shift schedule and the chance to play a key leadership role supporting manufacturing operations.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00
PM Salary:
Approximately $90,000-$100,000 annually Position Summary The HR Manager will lead and oversee all human resources functions for the manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support business objectives while fostering a positive, productive workplace and ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Conduct workplace investigations, maintain required records, and represent the company in employment-related hearings and proceedings as needed. Partner with production and department leaders to develop workforce and staffing plans. Lead recruitment efforts for hourly, skilled, professional, and management positions. Manage onboarding, orientation, and employee probationary review processes. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR filing systems. Stay current on HR best practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes through professional development activities. Prepare and submit required labor and employment reports. Develop and maintain effective recruiting, interviewing, testing, and selection processes. Advise managers on hiring decisions and conduct exit interviews to identify opportunities for improvement. Educate employees on company benefits and support benefits administration activities Promote positive employee relations and effective communication between employees and management. Address employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution issues. Manage and administer the performance management process, including supporting managers in establishing performance goals and evaluations. Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate compensation and statutory deductions. Administer employee benefit programs and coordinate with benefit providers as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered. Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive human resources experience. At least 3 years of experience in an HR supervisory or management role. Experience in manufacturing, die casting, automotive, metal fabrication, or other industrial environments strongly preferred.. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR-related software systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Employee turnover rate Time-to-fill open positions Employee training hours and development participation Resolution time for employee relations issues Payroll accuracy and timeliness Compliance audit results
