Company Overview Foundations for Living is a dedicated residential treatment center situated on expansive, wooded grounds, providing specialized mental health and substance abuse treatment for youth aged 11 to 17. Our facility is committed to fostering growth, resilience, and positive change through individualized, trauma-informed care delivered by a team of licensed professionals. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department with professionalism and expertise. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in human resources management within complex organizational settings, demonstrating proficiency in talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and workforce development. As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee all HR functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while cultivating a supportive and compliant work environment that promotes staff engagement and organizational excellence. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive human resources strategies aligned with organizational objectives, including workforce planning and organizational design. Lead talent acquisition efforts through HR sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding processes to attract qualified candidates. Manage employee orientation programs, performance evaluations, and ongoing training & development initiatives to foster professional growth. Responsible for compliance with employment laws such as
FMLA, OSHA
regulations, and labor law requirements. Administer workers' compensation claims and manage employee relations to resolve conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive workplace culture. Manages the facility's FMLA, LOA, Workers' Comp, and Unemployment programs Stays current with and ensures that the facility adides by all federal and local HR laws and regulatory standards Expert knowledge of HR systems such as HRIS, ATS, and LMS Ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive information while maintaining clear communication across departments. Candidates should possess substantial experience in human resources management within a healthcare or social services environment. Proven expertise in project management, regulatory compliance management, and employment & labor law is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Prior experience working within an HR department supporting trauma-informed care settings or youth services will be considered an asset. $69,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
