Human Resources Supervisor Archway Management - 1.5 South Euclid, OH Job Details Full-time 22 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Pension plan Vision insurance Qualifications Confidential information handling Coaching Task prioritization Full Job Description The Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all functions of the HR department to ensure effective support of organizational goals and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role manages and directs activities related to compensation, benefits administration, compliance, policy and procedure development, and labor relations. The HR Manager will also serve as the primary point of contact for matters related to union contracts, collective bargaining agreements (CBA), and the mediation of grievances. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters. Oversees and trains the HR staff to ensure that the department is efficient and effective. Maintain and update employee handbook and HR policies. Provides facility supervision on employee relations matters including investigations, resolving conflict, and communications in regards to employee questions, issues, or concerns. Support managers and employees with performance management, human resource policies, best practice and conflict resolution. Ensures regulatory compliance with ADA, FMLA, EEOC, etc. Stays current on recent federal, state and case law changes and monitors labor law updates for changes that affect HR. Assure that all employment forms (Application of Employment, W-2, I-9) are current. Maintain compliance with employment regulations and company policies. Maintain and organize employee records and filing systems, both digital and physical, in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Investigates accidents and grievance and document reports for management Responsible for all dealings involving Employee Benefits, Unemployment, & Workers Compensation. Ensure consistent communication, interpretation, and application of company policies and procedures to promote fairness, compliance and alignment with organizational value Ensure labor law and union compliance; manage certification processes and union status updates. Maintain accurate OSHA files. Keeps records of hired employee characteristics for governmental reporting purposes. Keeps records of insurance coverage, pension plan, and personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations. May represent company at personnel related hearings/investigations & all legal proceedings (EEOC, NLRB, Arbitrations). Oversee union adherence to CBA's, disciplinary actions, grievances, mediations and hearings. Lead recruitment, extend offer letters, manage candidate pipelines, and support hiring managers throughout the selection process. Education And Experience Requirements Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and deal with personal/sensitive matters of a highly private nature. Strong oral and written communication skills, proven ability to influence managers and teams Strong team leadership and coaching skills Detail oriented, organized, and able to establish priorities and manage deadlines Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skill Solid working knowledge of employment laws and regulations Technology aptitude/skills: advanced ability with technology and systems; proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word, Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision and Ancillary benefits Paid Time Off and Holidays 401k Retirement Plan
