Job Description

Human Resources Manager / Generalist Local Scrap Yard is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team in Muskogee. We are looking for someone who is dependable, approachable, and capable of handling a broad range of HR responsibilities with minimal supervision. This role can be structured around the candidate's experience and strengths. We are open to candidates ranging from an HR Generalist to an experienced HR Manager. Responsibilities Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes Administer benefits and assist employees with benefit-related questions Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies Assist with employee relations issues and conflict resolution Coordinate performance reviews and compensation processes Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures Manage workers' compensation and leave administration Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations Support training and employee development initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred HR experience required; manufacturing, industrial, or multi-location experience is a plus Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally What We're Looking For We value people who are practical, service-oriented, and willing to take ownership of their responsibilities.
