Our state-of-the-art detox facility emphasizes dignity, respect, and personalized treatment to support lasting recovery. Overview We are seeking an energetic and strategic Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and staff, driving HR initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, enhance talent management, and ensure compliance with employment laws. Your expertise will help shape organizational development and support our mission of delivering exceptional care through effective human resources strategies. Responsibilities Strategic Partnership Partner with executive leadership, clinical directors, and department managers to develop and implement workforce strategies that support organizational objectives. Provide guidance on organizational design, staffing models, succession planning, and change management initiatives. Analyze workforce metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improving retention, engagement, and operational effectiveness. Employee Relations Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on workplace issues, performance concerns, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation. Conduct investigations related to employee complaints, misconduct allegations, and policy violations. Facilitate fair and consistent application of organizational policies and employment practices. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Collaborate with recruitment teams to attract and retain qualified behavioral health professionals, including therapists, counselors, nurses, physicians, peer support specialists, and administrative staff. Support workforce planning initiatives to address staffing shortages and turnover challenges common in behavioral healthcare settings. Participate in onboarding strategies to improve new hire integration and retention. Performance Management & Employee Development Coach leaders on performance management, goal setting, feedback delivery, and corrective action processes. Support leadership development and employee training programs. Identify learning and development opportunities that strengthen clinical and operational capabilities. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Support compliance with healthcare accreditation and regulatory requirements, including standards related to workforce management. Maintain knowledge of labor laws, employee leave regulations, workplace accommodations, and healthcare workforce requirements. Partner with compliance and risk management teams to address workplace concerns and mitigate organizational risk. Employee Engagement & Culture Promote a positive, inclusive, and recovery-oriented workplace culture. Lead employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and retention strategies. Support employee wellness programs, resilience initiatives, and burnout prevention efforts for clinical and support staff. Compensation & Benefits Collaborate with compensation and benefits teams to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices. Assist leaders with compensation recommendations, market analyses, and workforce budgeting. Support communication and administration of employee benefit programs. HR Metrics & Reporting Monitor key HR indicators such as turnover, vacancy rates, engagement scores, time-to-fill, and employee relations trends. Develop reports and recommendations for leadership to support data-driven decision-making. Identify trends specific to behavioral health workforce challenges and recommend solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a Human Resources Business Partner or similar strategic HR role. Experience supporting behavioral health, mental health, substance use disorder treatment, addiction recovery, healthcare, or related clinical environments. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations processes. Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations matters. Excellent communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Professional HR certification such as Society for Human Resource Management-CP, SHRM-SCP, HR Certification Institute PHR, or SPHR. Experience supporting multi-site healthcare or behavioral health organizations. Knowledge of workforce challenges related to addiction treatment, mental health services, residential treatment, outpatient care, or recovery programs. Experience working in environments subject to healthcare accreditation and regulatory standards.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
