Full Job Description Overview:
Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. has an immediate opening for an HR Business Partner supporting our 2nd‑shift (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.) operations at our Meadows warehousing facility in Allentown, PA. In this position, you will be a key part of the Human Resource team. A successful HR Business Partner will perform as a strategic liaison between Human Resources and your assigned business partners. You will work closely with senior leaders to support the objectives of the organization and develop their teamsResponsibilities:
Partner with the second‑shift leadership to anticipate organizational needs and translate them into effective HR actions. Build and maintain coverage and staffing plans that ensure the right engineering resources are available. Lead recruitment efforts for both college and experienced talent to meet current and future workforce needs. Deliver a structured onboarding experience that accelerates integration and productivity for new engineers. Guide managers through performance and salary review cycles using fair, consistent, and data‑driven practices. Coordinate essential training programs and support ongoing skill and competency development across the engineering team. Design and manage job rotation opportunities that promote learning, broaden experience, and support career growth. Provide managers with accurate people and market data to inform strategic workforce and compensation decisions. Serve as a trusted resource for engineers, helping them navigate policies, resolve concerns, and access development opportunities. Foster a culture of growth by supporting engineers in identifying development paths and building long‑term career capabilities.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or related field Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 or 10+ years of work experience post academics 7+ years' experience working in HR Ability to cover 2nd‑shift hours (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.) HR certification preferred Effective at collaboratively driving projects with cross-functional teams Experience working effectively in a matrix organization Excellent judgement in complex situations with multiple stakeholders Lutron Electronics' position as the worldwide leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions has enabled consistent, annual growth.
