Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and strategic Human Resources Director (HR) to lead our organization's HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all facets of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. Your leadership will drive organizational growth by developing innovative HR strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring effective talent management, and cultivating an engaging work environment. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support organizational goals and promote a positive work environment. Lead talent acquisition efforts by designing sourcing strategies, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), conducting interviews, and overseeing onboarding processes. Oversee employee relations programs to address conflicts, manage grievances, and foster open communication channels across all levels of the organization. Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), workers' compensation regulations, and other relevant legal requirements. Manage performance management systems to evaluate employee performance, facilitate employee evaluations, and develop succession planning initiatives. Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, payroll processing through platforms like Paychex or ADP, and benefits communication to employees. Lead HRIS (Human Resources Information System) implementation and data analysis efforts using tools such as Workday, Oracle
HCM, SAP
SuccessFactors, or UltiPro to optimize HR processes. Supervise HR team members providing guidance on HR sourcing, training & development programs, change management projects, and process improvements. Collaborate with senior leadership to design organization structures that enhance efficiency through organization design principles. Manage compliance audits related to OSHA standards, safety protocols, contracts review, and HR policies ensuring legal adherence across all functions. Skills Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law including FMLA regulations and OSHA standards. Proven experience in talent acquisition strategies and sourcing techniques utilizing ATS platforms like Taleo or Paylocity. Strong negotiation skills for contracts review and vendor management related to benefits providers or HR technology solutions. Demonstrated supervising experience leading HR teams or departments with a focus on employee relations and performance management. Expertise in training & development programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and leadership capabilities. Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday, OracleHCM, SAP
SuccessFactors, or UltiPro for data collection and analysis. Excellent communication skills for presentations, employee engagement initiatives, and strategic planning discussions with senior leadership. Ability to manage multiple projects including program management initiatives like succession planning or process improvement efforts. Knowledge of payroll systems like Paychex or ADP along with benefits administration processes. Strong organizational skills for managing budgets related to HR operations while ensuring compliance with safety standards like OSHA requirements.
