Important Industry Requirement Candidates must have direct HR leadership experience within a Home Health Agency.

Experience limited to long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, hospice organizations, nursing homes, or physician offices will not meet qualification requirements due to differences in home health accreditation and regulatory standards. What You'll Do As HR Manager, you will serve as a key member of the leadership team and oversee all HR functions across the organization, including: Leading HR strategy, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives Managing full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, retention, and performance management Overseeing payroll administration, including advanced use of Paychex Flex Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and healthcare employment regulations Providing guidance on employee relations, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution Developing and improving HR policies, procedures, and systems Supervising and mentoring HR staff Managing audits, reporting, and HR analytics for executive leadership Identifying and mitigating compliance and legal risks Supporting a positive, professional, and mission-driven workplace culture
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications Proven HR Manager or senior HR leadership experience within a Home Health Agency Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and healthcare regulations Hands-on payroll experience using Paychex Flex Demonstrated success in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in HR or related discipline Experience leading HR initiatives in a growing healthcare organization Why Join Better Home Care?
