This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations, workplace investigations, and compliance who can partner with leadership to support a fair, compliant, and employee-focused work environment. About You Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 5+ years of experience in employee relations, compliance, investigations, or a related HR function Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulatory requirements, including EEOC, HIPAA, and OSHA Experience handling workplace investigations, employee complaints, and performance management matters Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage confidential information and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or other highly regulated environments About the Job Lead employee relations initiatives, including complaints, grievances, and workplace investigations Partner with leaders on disciplinary actions, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans Oversee employee performance review processes and related documentation Ensure compliance with employment laws, behavioral health regulations, and organizational policies Manage HR compliance functions, including background checks, audits, and recordkeeping Supervise HR staff supporting compliance, HRIS administration, and personnel records Analyze trends, identify risks, and recommend process and policy improvements Support a culture of accountability, consistency, and employee engagement This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule requiring three days onsite and two days remote after training in Philadelphia, PA. Compensation is up to $43.20/hour during the contract period, with an anticipated conversion salary of $94,000 annually depending on experience.
