We have been providing comprehensive substance misuse and mental health treatment for over 40 years. With locations throughout central Maryland, we provide a full continuum of levels of care to clients who struggle with substance use disorders as well as co-occurring psychiatric disorders. We are searching for a hands-on human resources leader to join our senior management team. The Corporate Director will have overall responsibility for all human resource-related issues, including but not limited to recruitment and onboarding, HRIS, employee relations, employee benefits, policy development, employee and manager training and regulatory compliance. The Director serves as a member of the Organization Performance Improvement Committee and the Facility Operations Committee and Compliance Committee.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ø Develop positive working relationships with leadership and support staff at facilities in Baltimore City and four central Maryland counties. Ø Support, direct and mentor facility-based HR Staff. Ø Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulatory/licensing organizations such as the Joint Commission. Ø Develop and direct a program of recruitment and retention that is budget-conscious and attentive to program-specific needs. Ø Manage onboarding, employee orientation and annual employee training. Ø Manage the organization's
ADP HRIS.
Ø Maintain and update the HR Policy Manual and Employee Handbook, ensuring that they are reflective of both organizational practice and applicable law. Ø Provide training and development or management staff on new/revised policies and other human resource topics. Ø Provide support and guidance to management staff when dealing with employee relations and disciplinary actions. Requirements Ø Bachelor's degree required, master's degree strongly preferred. Ø Successful healthcare HR experience strongly preferred. Ø Hands-on experience with ADP HR/Payroll platforms strongly preferred. Ø Demonstrated knowledge of current legal and regulatory requirements. Ø Demonstrated ability to relate effectively to persons at all levels in the organization. Ø Ability to travel to and between facilities throughout central Maryland on a regular basis
