Full Job Description Description:
The Director of HR will report to the Chief People Officer and manage a Human Resources Coordinator. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to shape culture, support growth, and ensure strong, compliant people practices. In addition, this person will take an active role in the integration of two recently acquired companies with dispersed personnel. This is a remote role, with moderate travel required. It will be the right fit for a high-impact HR leader who enjoys being close to the business—setting direction while also rolling up their sleeves to execute with care, clarity, and sound judgment.?

Requirements:
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Onboarding Own recruiting process and candidate experience across the organization Partner with hiring leaders to define role scope, compensation, and hiring priorities Manage recruiting platforms and the annual recruiting budget Help design and execute HR orientation and all communication with candidates as they transition to employees Employee Relations & People Operations Lead Employee Relations function with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment Maintain and evolve HR policies, handbooks, and internal documentation Work within various platforms to support benefits administration, payroll processes, and contractors People Development & Performance Own the annual performance review process, tools, and communication strategy Train and support managers on performance management and feedback practices Support leadership development, role clarity, and accountability across teams Compensation & Benefits Recommend compensation and benefits strategy in partnership with Finance and senior leadership Manage annual compensation review, merit increase and bonus cycles. Assist with off-cycle payroll increases and quarterly sales incentive payouts. Research and support incentive programs aligned to business and team needs Organizational Development & Culture Help plan events and recurring cultural touchpoints and company-wide meetings and retreats Shape internal communication rhythms and rituals for a distributed workforce Protect and evolve company culture as the organization scales
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree 7-10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior partnership with C-level executives Experience supporting a fully remote organization Strong background in recruiting, people operations, and employee relations Experience in high-growth, investor-backed, fast-paced environments strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to build HR programs from concept through execution Familiarity with HRIS, specifically with Paylocity is a plus?
