The Opportunity The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to leaders within the Stationary Division. This role aligns people strategy with business objectives, drives organizational effectiveness, supports talent development, and ensures compliance with US employment laws and Hexagon policies. Job Responsibilities What You Will Do Partner with Stationary Division leaders to align workforce planning, talent strategies, and organizational design with business objectives. Coach and advise managers on employee relations, performance management, engagement, and leadership development. Support and drive the annual performance cycle, succession planning, and talent review processes. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Compensation teams to ensure competitive and equitable hiring and internal mobility practices. Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions. Guide leaders through organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and adoption. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and government contractor requirements. Partner with Total Rewards and HR Operations to implement compensation philosophy and benefit programs. Promote a culture aligned with Hexagon's values: precision, accountability, integrity, and innovation.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or equivalent advisory role. Demonstrated experience advising leaders on performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning. Strong working knowledge of US and HR compliance requirements. Familiarity or working knowledge of Canadian employment regulations and HR practices. Experience supporting organizational change and talent management initiatives. Ability to interpret HR analytics and translate insights into business recommendations. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build credibility at multiple leadership levels.
Preferred:
Experience supporting a manufacturing, industrial, or technical workforce. Experience within a matrixed or global organization. Familiarity with SuccessFactors or similar HRIS systems. Exposure to US and Canadian immigration matters, including work authorization, cross‑border transfers, and coordination with external immigration counsel, is a strong asset. HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR). Regular use of a computer, phone, and other office equipment is required. The role requires frequent communication with leaders and employees across multiple sites. Occasional travel (up to 20%) to Stationary Division locations may be required. Physical requirements include prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and participating in meetings (virtual and in-person).
