Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading the organization's human resources strategy and operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives while fostering a compliant, high-performance, and employee-focused workplace. This role oversees all HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and regulatory compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
  • Oversee recruitment strategy and hiring processes
  • Posting job positions on external job boards, on the company website and social media channels
  • Partner with leadership to forecast staffing needs
  • Ensure effective onboarding and orientation programs
  • Develop employer retention initiatives
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions for all positions within the practice
  • Conduct interviews and assist with candidate selection to ensure strong talent acquisition
  • Coordinate the hiring process in collaboration with the HR department to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Facilitate comprehensive onboarding for all new staff, ensuring proper orientation and integration into the practice
  • Review and approve payroll for staff in a timely and accurate manner
  • Work as point of contact for compensation and benefits related inquires at the practice
  • Monitor and ensure timely renewal of provider and physician licenses and privileging, as applicable
  • Track and verify that all clinical staff maintain current licenses and certifications
  • Follow established protocols when staff resign or separate from the practice, including proper documentation and exit procedures, including conducting exit interviews
  • Develop policies and keep all manuals up to date including updating Health Stream with the latest policies
  • Appropriately and professionally address employee grievances and workplace conflicts
  • Send out a monthly newsletter to all Kouba Dermatology staff (Kouba Chronicles)
  • Update the staff directory, including email addresses and phone numbers
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred, significant experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with medical licensure requirements and credentialing processes is a plus
  • PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management- Certified Professional). If not yet certified then employee must receive certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Understanding of HR laws and best practices, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA and EEO
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and discretion

Pay:
$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
