Job Description

Overview Karpower is a next-generation power infrastructure company delivering fast-track, behind-the-meter energy solutions for industries that cannot afford delays, including AI-driven data centers, strategic manufacturing, and energy-constrained markets. With more than 80 years of heritage and over 25 years of experience in energy infrastructure, Karpower operates in more than 30 countries worldwide. Karpower Valley, located in Brownsville, Texas, is a first-of-its-kind industrial power and technology hub that integrates manufacturing, assembly, testing, commissioning, and deployment within a single ecosystem, redefining how power infrastructure is built in the United States. We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions for our operations in Brownsville, Texas. This role will be responsible for overseeing HR strategy, employee relations, compliance, workforce planning, and organizational development across multiple locations. Duties Manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable labor laws and company standards. Lead organizational development, workforce planning, and change management initiatives. Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations, performance issues, and HR best practices. Oversee recruitment processes, onboarding, and staffing strategies to meet operational needs. Manage HR operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and compliance. Prepare and monitor the HR department budget and control related costs. Support performance management programs, training plans, and employee development initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation. Participate in disciplinary actions, investigations, and termination processes when required. Promote a positive work environment and support employee engagement initiatives. Support company policies related to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus. Minimum 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 4-5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience managing HR operations across multiple locations, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or energy-related sectors. Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices. Experience in organizational development, change management, and workforce planning. Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems in a growing organization. Experience with performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee development programs. Strong budgeting and cost control skills related to HR operations. Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar) is a plus. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Experience working in a multicultural or international environment is an advantage.
