Full Job Description Human Resources Manager Location:

Brown Technologies is currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations at our Huntsville, AL office. This is a mid-level, on-site position supporting a fast-paced government contracting environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee records Administer payroll and HRIS functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and government contracting requirements (e.g., SCA, FLSA, EEO/AAP, OFCCP) Support full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, interview coordination, and offer processing Administer leave programs (FMLA, ADA accommodations) and workers' compensation Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and recommending resolutions Maintain and audit personnel files with strict attention to detail and confidentiality Develop, document, and improve HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook Prepare HR metrics and reports for leadership
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 4-7 years of progressive HR experience, including generalist and/or HR management responsibilities Working knowledge of federal and state employment law and HR compliance requirements Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office Ability to work full-time on-site in Huntsville, AL (this position is not remote-eligible)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting a DoD/government contracting environment, including familiarity with security clearance processing and
OFCCP/AAP
compliance Hands-on experience with ADP (Workforce Now or similar) PHR, SPHR, or
SHRM-CP/SCP
