Job Description

HR Manager ? Queens, NY Area | Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and lead all core human resources functions for a growing organization. This is a highly visible role that will partner closely with leadership while supporting employees across multiple departments. The position offers work-from-home Fridays during the summer , with in-office presence required the remainder of the week. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes Coordinate new hire orientations and employee onboarding programs Administer payroll through ADP TotalSource PEO Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and management Oversee OSHA-related compliance initiatives and workplace safety programs Draft and maintain HR-related documentation, contracts, memorandums, and employment records Act as a liaison between departments to support communication and operational effectiveness Support labor relations matters and work with unionized employees as needed Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations Supervise and mentor one direct report Qualifications 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience Experience with recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, and payroll administration Prior experience with ADP TotalSource or a PEO environment preferred Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety administration Experience supporting unionized workforces preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on day-to-day HR responsibilities What Our Client Offers Hybrid work schedule with Summer Friday remote flexibility Competitive compensation and benefits package Commuter stipend available for candidates traveling from New Jersey Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative and growing organization This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working across recruiting, payroll, compliance, employee relations, and operational HR functions while serving as a key partner to leadership.
