Alameda Electrical Distributors & California Service Too l is seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager based in Hayward, CA . In this role, you'll partner with leadership, influence strategy, and help shape the employee experience across a growing organization.

What You'll Do Own and lead all HR operations including employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, and performance management Partner with executive leadership to execute HR strategy, including workforce planning, retention, and succession planning Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt, professional, and leadership roles Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, investigations, accommodations, and terminations Analyze compensation and benefits trends; recommend competitive pay and incentive programs Develop and implement training and development initiatives to support employee growth Ensure compliance with all Federal, California, and local employment laws Maintain HR policies, procedures, and audit-ready practices Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership on HR-related matters
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field 3+ years of HR management experience Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance Experience handling employee relations, investigations, and risk management HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Proven ability to drive change management initiatives and manage projects and programs that support business and HR priorities Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems, or the ability to quickly learn
The Opportunity:
$130,000 - $150,000 Base Salary (based on experience) Quarterly performance-based bonus opportunities
Hybrid Schedule:
2 days remote, 3 days on-site
