Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic setting where your skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a lasting impact across PreK through Adult Program caseloads. This contract-based opportunity offers a flexible, part-time schedule (27.5 hours per week) with extended school year (ESY) involvement, perfect for professionals seeking to balance rewarding work with other commitments. The role is itinerant and requires onsite presence, providing variety as you work with diverse student groups in a supportive educational environment.
Key Requirements:
Current Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is a must Experience in school-based settings, serving PreK through adult populations Skilled in conducting thorough evaluations and assessments Ability to manage an itinerant caseload and travel onsite as needed Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams Adaptability and resourcefulness to meet varied student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students attending multiple sites Administer assessments and participate in the development of IEP goals Document progress and maintain accurate records to support student achievement Consult with educators, administrators, and families to support individualized learning plans Facilitate meaningful communication skills for students with diverse abilities Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture Immerse yourself in a position that values your expertise and commitment to student success.
