Adventure is Barking is looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to help us create an amazing experience for both our employees and our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organized, and wants to grow into a Human Resources career. While previous HR experience is certainly helpful, we're much more interested in finding the right person than the perfect résumé. If you're motivated, eager to learn, and excited to make a difference every day, we'd love to meet you. One to two days each week, you'll also work at our front desk. We believe the best People & Culture professionals stay connected to the day-to-day operations of the business and the people they support. Must love dogs. That's non-negotiable. What You'll Do People & Culture Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new team members. Coordinate onboarding and help new employees feel welcome and prepared. Maintain employee files and HR records. Help coordinate training, employee communication, and team events. Support employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives. Assist leadership with scheduling interviews, documentation, and HR projects. Coordinate payroll and benefits information with our outside partners. Learn and grow into additional HR responsibilities over time. Help keep our team organized, informed, and supported. Reception & Client Experience Work one to two reception shifts each week. Welcome clients and their dogs with exceptional customer service. Answer phones, emails, and scheduling questions. Assist with check-in and check-out. Help support the daily operations of the facility. Who You Are You genuinely enjoy helping people. You're organized, dependable, and proactive. You communicate well, enjoy learning new things, and aren't afraid to ask questions. You take pride in keeping things organized, solving problems, and making people's day a little easier. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day looks a little different and enjoy being part of a collaborative team. Most importantly, you're excited to grow alongside a company that is continuing to evolve. We'd Love If You Have Experience in customer service, administration, hospitality, retail, recruiting, office support, or Human Resources. Strong organizational and communication skills. Confidence using computers and learning new software. Excellent attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed. The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. A love for dogs and a desire to work in a dog-friendly environment. Pay:
$48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
