Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resources leader to serve as our Senior Director, Human Resources Operations. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this leader will oversee Human Resources operations across a growing multi-state Home Health, Hospice, and Personal Care organization. The Senior Director will be responsible for leading and optimizing core Human Resources functions while driving the integration, standardization, and continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and service delivery across the organization. This role requires a leader who is equally comfortable developing strategy, building teams, and actively participating in operational execution. As a key member of the HR leadership team, the Senior Director will partner closely with Operations, Finance, Payroll, Compliance, IT, and executive leadership to build scalable HR infrastructure that supports growth, enhances employee experience, strengthens compliance, and improves organizational performance. This position is ideal for a leader who has successfully supported healthcare organizations through rapid growth, multi-state expansion, process integration, systems optimization, and organizational change. Key Responsibilities Human Resources Operations Leadership Lead all day-to-day Human Resources operations across multiple states and service lines. Develop, coach, and lead a high-performing HR team focused on service excellence, accountability, and business partnership. Direct employee relations, workplace investigations, corrective actions, performance management, compensation administration, benefits administration, leave management, workers' compensation, and unemployment programs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare industry regulations. Serve as a trusted advisor to operational leaders and executive leadership on employee and organizational matters. HR Process & Systems Integration Lead the integration and standardization of HR processes, policies, procedures, and workflows across all locations and business units. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, consistency, compliance, and employee experience. Serve as the organization's HRIS leader, overseeing system administration, reporting, optimization, and data integrity. Partner with IT, Payroll, Finance, and Operations to streamline processes, automate workflows, and improve organizational effectiveness. Lead HR integration efforts associated with acquisitions, new market expansion, and organizational growth initiatives. Develop HR dashboards, workforce analytics, and executive reporting to support data-driven decision-making. Strategic Partnership & Organizational Development Partner with the CHRO to execute enterprise people strategies and operational priorities. Support workforce planning, succession planning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. Lead change management efforts related to growth, technology implementation, and operational improvements. Identify workforce trends and recommend solutions that improve retention, engagement, and organizational performance. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 8+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience. 5+ years leading Human Resources teams. Experience supporting multi-site and multi-state operations. Strong employee relations, employment law, and compliance expertise. Hands-on HRIS administration, reporting, and systems optimization experience. Demonstrated success integrating HR processes, systems, and operational practices across diverse locations. Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Healthcare experience in Home Health, Hospice, Personal Care, Post-Acute Care, or related healthcare services. SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable HR certification. Experience supporting high-growth and acquisitive organizations.
