Job Description

A collaborative, team-oriented leader in the transport industry is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join the team. This role blends strategic HR, operational execution, talent development, workforce planning, employee relations, organizational development, recruitment, and leadership coaching. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for serving as a trusted business partner to operational leaders across the business while helping shape the company's people strategy. Direct Hire Responsibilities:
Provide practical HR guidance that helps leaders make confident business decisions. Coach leaders through performance management, employee relations, and organizational challenges. Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent reviews. Drive recruitment strategies for both office and field operations. Support organizational design and change management initiatives. Analyze workforce data and trends to influence business decisions. Lead and participate in HR projects that improve the employee experience. Identify opportunities to simplify processes and challenge outdated ways of working. Help develop future leaders across the organization. Partner with leadership to build an engaged, high-performing culture. Support mobility, workforce planning, and long-term organizational growth.
Requirements:
8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience Bachelor's degree required; SHRM or similar certification preferred Strong experience supporting operational or industrial environments Experience partnering directly with senior leaders A strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices Experience in organizational development, succession planning and talent management Confidence making decisions in situations where there isn't always a perfect answer Due to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
