This individual will work closely with their entity Senior Director/Director of Human Resources, HR Centers of Expertise (COE) and Star Community Health leadership team. The intent of this job description is to provide a summary of the major duties and responsibilities of this position and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position. Responsibilities 1. Executes talent and human resource strategies. Implements programs, processes and tools of the practice areas. 2. Partners with leadership on acquisitions and departmental restructuring to support and facilitate on-boarding, change management, re-design, position placements, etc. 3. Provides consulting to leaders on a broad range of human resource issues; including employee relations, performance management and ensuring consistency on goal setting, pay positioning and performance differentiation and distribution. 4. Facilitates employee relations activities including partnering with leadership on initiating corrective action and associated follow-up including conducting staff interviews, investigations, discussions with managers, documentation 5. Utilizes data to analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the Senior Director/Director to develop solutions, programs and policies. 6. Strengthens the organization through talent planning activities, including but not limited to succession planning and high-potential talent identification and development. 7. Forecasts & plans talent pipeline requirements in line with function or business strategy 8. Drives change management practices to enable organizational effectiveness, while supporting the organization's culture, in order to maximize competitive advantage and the talents of the workforce 9. Develops strategies to foster employee engagement and commitment 10. Maintains knowledge of current legal and regulatory requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance. 11. Complies with Community health organization and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements. 12. Demonstrates/models the Star Community Health Service Excellence Standards of Performance in interactions with all customers (internal and external). 13. Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: Clinical Care/Outcomes, Customer/Service Improvement, Operational System/Process, and Safety. 14. Demonstrates financial responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures, processes and practices. 15. Performs additional HR duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Sitting for up to six hours per day, one hour at a time. Standing for up to five hours per day, one hour at a time. Walking up to three hours per day, thirty minutes at a time. Fingering and handling frequently. Twisting and turning of hands occasionally. Lifting and carrying up to ten pounds, occasionally. Pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Occasionally stoops, bends, squats, kneels, and reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general, near and visual monotony.
MOST COMPLEX DUTY
Problem solving and managing various employment related situations in the workplace.

): Senior Director or Director of Human Resources.
COMMUNICATIONS
Communicates effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels of the Community health organization and also with candidates, outside organizations and community members.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a working knowledge of employment laws and all human resources policies and procedures. Ability to travel and work under limited supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION
B.A. or B.S. in Human Resources or related field is required.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources is preferred. Must have demonstrated skills in understanding and supporting the team concept, active listening, problem solving and maintaining confidentiality. Experience with an HRIS System preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Pay:
$63,100.00 - $100,960.00 per year
