Purpose The HR Business Partner I is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources function for a single community location in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that quality personnel are interviewed, trained, and employed. Qualifications High school diploma and at least five (5) years of personnel or HR experience; College degree or HR Certification (I.e., SHRM-CP, PHR) highly preferred. Understanding of various HR functions (employee relations, employment law, Workers' Compensation, unemployment, recruiting, and onboarding). Demonstrated leader/multi-tasker, communication skills, and ability to work effectively with staff, residents, families, and external agencies. Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive personnel matters. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong organizational and multitasking skills. Essential Functions Support and implement HR policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance for the facility. Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, credentialing, and employment eligibility processes. Maintain accurate personnel records, payroll documentation, attendance records, and disciplinary files. Oversee Workers' Compensation and unemployment claims and coordinate with appropriate agencies. Provide orientation, training support, policy interpretation, and foster positive employee relations. Schedule Fully onsite, including some weekends, evenings, and Holidays.
