Job Description Job Summary The Human Resources Operations Manager for Human Resources serves as a key operational and administrative leader within the Office of Human Resources. This position is responsible for overseeing departmental business operations, budget administration, purchasing activities, administrative support functions, front desk operations, and organizational coordination activities. The role works closely with HR leadership to ensure effective management of resources, exceptional customer service, and operational efficiency across the department. This position also coordinates major departmental initiatives and employee engagement activities, including service awards programming, annual employee giving campaigns, website content management, and organizational reporting updates. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of business operations, budgeting, purchasing, and administrative management practices. Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based systems. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field and three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative, business management, or operational experience. Experience with budgeting, purchasing, and event coordination. OR An equivalent combination of education and work experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in higher education or a complex organizational environment. Experience supporting Human Resources operations. Experience managing websites or updating web content. Experience coordinating employee engagement or recognition programs.
