System Manager, Team Member Health (8a-5p) Human Resources - Johnson City, TN

Job Description:

Summary:

System Manager Employee Health coordinates and administers all aspects of the Team Member Health program for all facilities and team members of Ballad Health System. Responsible for leadership and supervision of the Employee Health staff, while ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local laws, as well as accrediting bodies. Assesses, identifies, plans and implements processes to achieve positive outcomes for the Employee population, while ensuring compliance of individual staff member Scope of Practice. Provides leadership and direction of programs with oversight such as vaccination programs, workers compensation, and OSHA or other governing bodies mandated reporting. Develops and monitors departmental budget. Directs departmental collaboration with Human Resources. Acts in a supportive role in regard to Quality Improvement, focus groups and committees such as Environment of Care and Infection Control. Ensures compliance and recordkeeping in accordance with policies and procedures. Implements medical directives while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and ensuring Employee personal information confidentiality.

Requirements:

Associate's Degree in nursing from an accredited school, Bachelor's degree preferred. Five years nursing experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and caring skills required.
