This role will shape workforce planning, strengthen hiring outcomes through data and technology, and partner closely with senior leaders across the business to meet current and future talent needs. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in regulated environments, a modern approach to recruiting operations, and the leadership skills to guide teams through growth and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead a company-wide talent acquisition strategy that supports business growth, improves hiring effectiveness, and aligns recruiting activity with long-term workforce plans. Direct and coach a geographically distributed recruiting organization, including leaders, recruiters, sourcing specialists, and coordinators, while establishing clear performance expectations and succession depth. Advance recruiting capabilities through responsible use of AI, talent insights, and reporting tools that measure hiring speed, candidate conversion, quality of placements, diversity outcomes, satisfaction, cost efficiency, and retention. Strengthen operational performance by refining recruitment workflows, setting service standards, planning team capacity, and improving the effectiveness of hiring technology, assessments, screening processes, and vendor partnerships. Lead adoption of new recruiting tools and practices by managing communication, training, and stakeholder engagement efforts that encourage consistency and continuous learning. Oversee senior-level and hard-to-fill hiring needs using structured evaluation methods, while expanding pipelines through entry-level, campus, skilled, and community-based talent channels. Partner with compensation, communications, and marketing teams to support competitive and equitable offers, elevate the employer brand, and create a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers. Ensure recruiting practices meet regulatory, ethical, and policy standards related to equal employment, pay equity, background review, adverse action, and data privacy requirements. 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or human resources, including substantial leadership responsibility for enterprise or multi-location recruiting teams. Demonstrated success working in complex, highly regulated environments; experience within financial services is strongly preferred. Hands-on expertise with AI-enabled recruiting methods, talent intelligence tools, and analytics used to improve hiring decisions and operational outcomes. Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems, HR platforms, and enterprise recruiting technologies, including experience with Oracle-based environments. Proven ability to optimize processes, manage external recruiting partners, and deliver measurable improvements in service quality, hiring results, and cost control. Deep understanding of inclusive hiring practices, structured interviewing, assessment strategies, competency frameworks, and change leadership principles. Excellent communication, executive-level presence, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making across functions and leadership levels. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications are preferred, with flexibility to travel as needed and collaborate across time zones.
