Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead talent strategy and employee support initiatives for a growing organization in Texas. This contract-to-permanent position is ideal for a hands-on HR leader who can balance day-to-day execution with long-term people planning across recruitment, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement. The right candidate will bring strong judgment, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to build effective partnerships across all levels of the business. This is a 3 Month Contract to Hire Located in Fort Worth FULLY On - Site ( Monday-Friday ) 8am-5pm schedule Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
  • Manage end-to-end recruiting for all open roles, including job postings, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offer management
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft compelling job descriptions, and develop interview frameworks
  • Build and maintain a proactive talent pipeline through LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, and community partnerships
  • Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rate) and continuously optimize the hiring process
  • Champion a positive, equitable candidate experience from first contact through onboarding Human Resources & Employee Relations
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, performance, and workplace concerns
  • Lead onboarding and orientation programs that set new hires up for early success
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, the employee handbook, and standard operating procedures
  • Manage performance review cycles, goal-setting frameworks, and coaching programs in partnership with leadership
  • Handle employee relations matters with discretion, fairness, and a commitment to a positive workplace culture
  • Oversee offboarding processes including exit interviews, knowledge transfer, and COBRA administration Benefits & Compensation Administration
  • Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit programs, including open enrollment
  • Serve as the primary liaison with benefits brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators
  • Manage 401(k) plan administration, including employee communications, compliance testing coordination, and vendor oversight
  • Conduct periodic compensation benchmarking and provide recommendations to maintain market-competitive pay structures
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, parental leave, etc.) Requirements
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in human resources with responsibility for both HR operations and employee support.
  • Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruitment for positions across different departments and levels of seniority.
  • Practical experience administering employee benefits programs, coordinating open enrollment, and working directly with external vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance standards, and accepted people practices at the federal and state level.
  • Proficiency with HRIS or applicant tracking systems and standard workplace software used for reporting, communication, and documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Background in employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR administration, and compliance-driven processes.
