This Position will be at out facility located in Fort Worth, Texas just South of DFW airport in the CentrePort Business Park, and working directly for our Director of Administrative Operations . We offer a full line of printed packaging components, including labels, folding cartons, blister packaging and printed literature such as inserts, outserts and medication guides.
Responsibilities:
a) All "HR Activities" for staff as outlined in the HR Specialist job description. b) Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. c) Annual reviews and updates of job descriptions as necessary. d) Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook. e) Maintains incident/injury log and submits annual
OSHA 300
log. Proactive oversight of all incidents. f) Management & participation of all recruitment activities including ads and recruiter agencies. g) Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness. h) Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. i) Development of reports related to all HR related queries. Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of departmental initiatives in relation to established goals. j) Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. k) Planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations. l) Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. m) Management of workers compensation claims and medical care administration. n) Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
a) Communication, verbal and written. b) Bi-Lingual is a plus. c) Intermediate computer skills. d) Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. e) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. f) Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel in particular) or related software. g) Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.

Experience:
a) Bachelor's degree and/or 3 years of Management experience. b) 5+ Years Human Resource department experience.
HOURS:
8am - 5pm M-F Benefits after 30 days including Medical, Dental, Vision & Life. We offer 401k with employer match, holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO).
