We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Director to lead our organization's HR initiatives, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive talent management excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources functions, including employee relations, organizational development, compliance, and HRIS systems. Your leadership will ensure the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent while maintaining compliance with employment laws and fostering an inclusive environment that aligns with our strategic goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our workforce and influence organizational success through innovative HR practices. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives, including talent acquisition, succession planning, and workforce development. Oversee employee relations programs to promote a positive work environment, resolve conflicts effectively, and ensure employee engagement. Manage compliance with employment and labor laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), workers' compensation policies, and other regulatory requirements. Lead performance management initiatives by establishing evaluation processes, coaching managers on employee evaluation techniques, and supporting performance improvement plans. Supervise HR sourcing activities including recruitment strategies, interviewing processes, onboarding procedures, employee orientation programs, and HR sourcing tools like ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems). Drive organizational design efforts to optimize structure for efficiency and agility while managing change management initiatives across departments. Oversee training & development programs to enhance employee skills, support leadership development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Manage HR program administration related to workers' compensation claims, OSHA compliance audits, and benefits administration. Utilize data analysis skills for HR metrics reporting, process improvement initiatives, and strategic planning to support senior leadership decision-making. Experience Proven experience in human resources management with a minimum of 3-5 years in senior leadership roles such as HR Director or equivalent position. Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law regulations including
FMLA, OSHA
standards, workers' compensation policies, and benefits compliance. Demonstrated success in talent acquisition strategies utilizing various sourcing tools such as Taleo, UltiPro, Oracle HCM or equivalent ATS platforms. Supervising experience leading diverse teams within human resources functions like employee relations, performance management, training & development. Strong negotiation skills for contracts related to benefits providers or vendor agreements; excellent communication skills for presentations and stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP Workforce Now or equivalent platforms; proficiency in data collection and analysis for strategic insights. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in process improvement initiatives. Knowledge of organizational design principles combined with change management expertise to support growth initiatives effectively.
