VP of HR Job Summary The Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading the day-to-day HR operations for a manufacturing facility of approximately 130 employees. This role serves as a strategic and hands-on business partner to site leadership while overseeing employee relations, talent management, payroll administration, compliance, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development initiatives. The Director of HR will manage a small HR team, including payroll administration, and play a key role in supporting operational leadership, strengthening company culture, and driving employee engagement across the facility. This position requires a collaborative leader who can build strong relationships with employees at all levels while balancing business needs and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Partner with operational and senior leadership to support business objectives and workforce planning. Provide coaching and guidance to managers and senior leaders on employee relations, performance management, leadership effectiveness, and organizational development. Lead employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions. Support and drive employee engagement initiatives, retention efforts, and culture-building activities. Oversee full-cycle recruiting efforts for salaried and hourly positions. Manage onboarding, orientation, and employee development processes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Oversee payroll processes and support payroll administration through Paycom or similar HRIS/payroll systems. Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, and programs. Support compensation and performance review processes. Analyze HR metrics and trends to support operational decision-making. Coordinate leave management, workers' compensation, and ADA accommodations. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee information. Supervise and develop HR staff members. NOTE:

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR Director or senior HR leadership role. Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments strongly preferred. Prior experience managing or mentoring HR staff. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience coaching senior leaders and managers on employee and leadership matters. Demonstrated success driving employee engagement and culture initiatives. Experience with HRIS/payroll systems required; Paycom experience preferred. Strong conflict resolution, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred but not required.
