Job Description

Job Description We are looking for a Senior Director of Human Resources who will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the organization's people strategy, with a strong emphasis on corporate compliance, risk management, and scalable HR operations. This role ensures adherence to all applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements while building and maintaining best-in-class HR programs that support business growth. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in employment law and compliance, with experience navigating complex regulatory environments, and preferably brings international HR exposure across multiple regions. Key Responsibilities Compliance & Risk Management
  •  Serve as the organization's lead expert on federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA).
  •  Ensure full compliance with all employment-related legal requirements and proactively monitor regulatory changes.
  •  Partner with legal counsel on investigations, audits, and employment-related matters.
  •  Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to mitigate organizational risk.
  •  Oversee internal audits, compliance reporting, and documentation practices. HR Strategy & Leadership
  •  Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with overall business objectives.
  •  Lead and develop a high-performing HR team across multiple functions (HRBP, Talent, Total Rewards, etc.).
  •  Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
  •  Establish and track key HR metrics to inform decision-making.
Global / International
HR
  •  Support HR operations across international regions, ensuring compliance with country-specific labor laws.
  •  Partner with global stakeholders to align HR practices while respecting local regulations and cultural nuances.
  •  Manage global mobility, international benefits, and cross-border employment considerations (as applicable).

  •  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  •  10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior-level roles.
  •  Deep expertise in U.S. employment law and corporate compliance.
  •  Proven experience managing risk, audits, and regulatory compliance programs.
  •  Strong leadership and team development experience.
  •  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  •  Experience supporting international or multi-country HR operations.
  •  Advanced degree (MBA, JD, or Master's in HR or related field).
  •  HR certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent.
