Full Job Description Position Description Job Summary:
The Paralegal is a key member of the Legal Department and has responsibility for supporting the objectives and goals set by the Senior Vice President and General Counsel including support for corporate, litigation and contracts activities across all business groups ensuring the organization's compliance
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and organize corporate documents Maintain corporate licenses and compliance documents Assist with and support of contract review File documents with state and federal agencies Conduct legal and regulatory research Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements Draft contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents Coordinate due diligence for transactions and litigation Track deadlines and manage legal calendars Position Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications Paralegal certification (e.g., from NALA or NFPA) is a plus Strong knowledge of corporate and contract law and litigation practices Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience 2+ years of experience in corporate law or a related field Experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department Familiarity with compliance and regulatory filings Track, analyze, and report on engagement metrics across content formats to refine strategies and improve ROI.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Ability to walk job sites when necessary. May be required to travel to job sites and other locations.
