Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized professional to manage our agricultural human resources, payroll, H-2A guest worker program, and farm property housing. The Human Resources Manager plans, coordinates, and executes daily HR activities to ensure efficient department operations. This role manages employee records, recruitment, job descriptions, housing, and regulatory compliance. Essential Functions Key Responsibilities H-2
A Program Oversight:
Manage end-to-end H-2A visa compliance, worker recruitment, orientation, and mandatory reporting.
Payroll & IRA Administration:
Process weekly farm payroll, track agricultural overtime, and manage employee IRA plan enrollments and deductions.
Property Management:
Oversee housing, arrange required inspections, manage utilities, and handle maintenance repairs.
Labor Compliance:
Ensure absolute adherence to
DOL, DOT, TX
DOT, OSHA, USCIS, and local agricultural housing and wage standards. Data & Record Management Create new employee files and enter data into the HRIS. Maintain current physical and digital HR databases. Conduct regular file audits to ensure legal compliance. Assist managers with time entry in the timekeeping system. Submit weekly hours for payroll. Recruitment & Talent Management Coordinate recruitment activities to support workforce staffing plans. Assist in the creation and updating of job descriptions. Complete termination paperwork and conduct exit interviews. Coordinate 90-day and annual employee performance evaluations. Specialized Logistics & Immigration Partner with H-2A representatives to process recruitment and applications. Coordinate housing logistics for incoming H-2A employees. Collaborate with immigration attorneys on specialized workforce projects. Benefits & Vendor Relations Coordinate pre-employment and quarterly random drug testing programs. Partner with brokers to implement annual medical, dental, and vision renewals. Administer mid-year benefit changes and employee status updates. Compliance & Culture Assist management with environmental audits and certifications. Assist Transportation Management with DOT and FMCSA compliance. Answer incoming phone calls and transfer to the appropriate department. Plan and execute internal company functions and employee events. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Position Requirements Experience & Language Education:
Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
Experience :
Minimum 5 years of related Human Resources experience required if no degree.
Language :
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required. Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with automated timekeeping and HRIS software is preferred.

From $60,000.00 per year
