REQ5997 We seek a strategic Senior People Partner to drive performance, engagement, and organisational effectiveness. The SPP will guide people strategy, employee relations, trade union relationships and talent management, building strong relationships to support business goals. Reporting into the Operations People Director, this role also involves supporting HR improvements and shaping the future direction of the People team during its transformation. We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses across the community. Whether you're supporting from the office or working on the front line, every role plays a part. Partner with senior leaders to deliver workforce planning, talent, engagement, and people strategies aligned to business objectives Use people data and insights to support decision-making, drive performance, and identify opportunities for improvement Lead talent, succession, and leadership development initiatives to build diverse and future-ready teams Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, coaching managers to achieve positive and fair outcomes Support organisational change, restructuring, and workforce transition programmes, ensuring an inclusive and people-focused approach Drive continuous improvement across People processes, systems, and projects to enhance the employee experience What you'll need CIPD Level 7 qualification, or equivalent professional experience in a senior HR/People partnering role Strong experience influencing senior stakeholders and developing leadership capability across a range of management levels In-depth knowledge of employment law, employee relations, HR best practice, and operational people management Proven experience in talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and organisational change Ability to build trusted relationships with Trade Union representatives and other key stakeholders Commercially minded, analytical, and adaptable, with a proactive approach to solving problems and driving positive change This role will require travel and overnight stays to meet business needs, with occasional travel to our Southern England sites Not sure you meet every requirement?
