Job Description
Gifford is looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner to our clinical leaders and employees. This role provides HR expertise across the employee lifecycle, with a focus on attracting and retaining talented healthcare professionals, strengthening engagement, and supporting a thriving clinical workforce. The Senior HR Business Partner partners with clinical leadership to align HR strategies with organizational priorities and provides guidance in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, workforce development, and organizational effectiveness. The role supports clinical recruitment from position request through onboarding, including candidate screening, compensation market analysis, offer development and negotiations, recruitment compliance, and new hire orientation. The position also provides guidance on coaching, performance management, employee relations, investigations, career development, and disciplinary matters; analyzes workforce trends and metrics; identifies training needs; facilitates HR programs; and collaborates with leaders to address clinical workforce needs. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of HR policies, employment practices, and applicable federal and state employment laws, along with demonstrated experience providing strategic HR guidance and managing complex employee relations matters. Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, coaching, conflict-resolution, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; Master's degree and/or HR certification a plus. 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role.
